This seminar will have one interesting presentation:- Robin Baruffa & Hugo Bantignies, research engineers at CHROMA team (Inria) : A demonstration of the Autonomous Barakuda Robot - Perception and Navigation in Unstructured Environment As part of the Mobilex project, the CHROMA team addresses the challenges of autonomous robotics in unstructured environments using the Barakuda platform. This project incorporates perception algorithms based on Bayesian approaches optimized through GPU acceleration. These algorithms are deployed in combination with the Nav2 suite of ROS2. The demonstration will showcase the robot's performance under real-world conditions in the field behind the INRIA parking lot.
These seminars aim to share our work in a casual manner, serving as both practice for conferences and an opportunity to connect with other PhDs, post-docs, research engineers, and interns at the center.
